The G60RS H runs entirely on zero-carbon hydrogen fuel, helping sites meet EU Stage V emissions legislation without the need for exhaust after-treatment. Because there’s no DPF required, operation is simplified on-site, and there’s no risk of the issues diesel units can face when running light loads for extended periods -making it a straightforward, low-maintenance route to cleaner power.

Designed to operate just like its diesel equivalent, the G60RS H uses the same control systems, socket arrangements, lifting points and forklift pockets – meaning teams can start using it straight away, with no additional training required. Matching physical dimensions, performance and service intervals to the diesel version, JCB has made switching to hydrogen power as seamless as possible for operators and site managers alike.

As part of JCB’s Rental Series, the G60RS H is engineered for durability from the ground up, using heavy-gauge steel construction to handle the toughest working conditions. A longer, wider baseframe is designed to absorb transit knocks and general wear, keeping the unit protected through repeated moves between sites. It’s also tested in extreme temperatures to ensure consistent, reliable performance whatever the environment.
